How to Install Project+ for Wii and Wii U

Introduction

Project+ is the ultimate community-driven patch for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It builds upon the legacy of Project M, adding new characters (like Knuckles!), stages, and balancing changes to create the definitive Smash experience.

Requirements

Step 1: Download Project+

Visit the official Project+ website to download the latest version. Choose the 'Wii' version (Offline).

Step 2: Install

1. Format your SD Card to FAT32.
2. Extract the downloaded Project+ zip file.
3. Move the contents directly to the ROOT of your SD card. (You should see folders like 'apps', 'codes', 'project+' in the root).

Step 3: Launching the Game

Method A: Homebrew Launcher (Recommended)
1. Insert SD card into Wii.
2. Launch Homebrew Channel.
3. Select the Project+ app and click Play.

Method B: Hackless (Stage Builder)
1. Delete all custom stages from your Brawl save file (including sample stages).
2. Insert SD card.
3. Go to Stage Builder in the game menu.
4. The exploit should trigger and launch Project+.
